Rules for transferring between universities at New Mansoura University For the academic year 2023-2024

The rules for transferring between universities at New Mansoura University, starting from the first semester of the academic year 2023/24, include :

  • Approval of the university where the student is registered for the transfer, along with giving the student a statement of grades and the academic content of the courses he has passed, and explicit approval for the transfer.
  • The student meets the acceptance rate of the college to which he is transferred in the year of obtaining his secondary school certificate
  • The student must have been at the university from which he is transferring for at least one academic year.
  • The success percentage for any of the courses transferred to the student shall not be less than 60%.
  • Determining the minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) for transfer acceptance is determined by the internal regulations of universities (the cumulative GPA of accepted students is determined according to the highest cumulative total among the students applying from all sides, which meets the number allowed for transfer, and this is not known until the end of the application period and the sorting of papers. The Council can The university has set a minimum cumulative GPA that can be accepted for transfer from another university.
  •  If the university from which the student is transferred approves the transfer, preference will be given to students according to the highest cumulative total within the percentage set for transfer.
  • The student must not have received disciplinary sanctions or been expelled.
  • The number of credit hours transferred to the student that he studied outside the university to which he is transferred must not exceed 50% of the number of credit hours required for graduation, meaning that the student must study at the university to which he is transferred at least 50% of the hours necessary for his graduation.
  • The duration of study in the college to which the student is transferred must not be less than three academic years (for colleges in which the duration of study is more than four years), and two academic years (for colleges in which the duration of study is four academic years).
  • The percentage of transferred students does not exceed 10% of the number scheduled for admission.
  • New Mansoura University will not accept transfers except for students transferred to available academic years and in the specified number determined according to the highest cumulative total among applicants, whether from within or from abroad.
  • The transfer window at New Mansoura University will be opened from July 15, 2023 until August 15, 2023, after which the applications will be sorted and arranged according to the cumulative total and according to the required number of 10 percent.
  • For students transferred from universities outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, in addition to the previous requirements, they must bring:
  • A transcript certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence and the Egyptian embassy there.
  • The study content is certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of residence and the Egyptian embassy there.
  • The university you are transferring from is recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Due to the differences in the regulations of the Faculty of Medicine in private universities from their counterparts in other universities, a student in the Faculty of Medicine at New Mansoura University will not be transferred from the first level to the second level unless he has passed all the subjects. Therefore, if a student applies for transfer and has taken any subjects for more than 9 hours, he will not Taken to the next level.
  • Receiving transfer papers from the student is not considered acceptable unless the clearing is done and approved by the President of the University and the Council of Private and Private Universities approves the transfer.
