رئيس جامعة المنصورة الجديدة يشارك في قمة QS للتعليم العالي بالشرق الأوسط 2025
في إطار حرص جامعة المنصورة الجديدة على الانخراط الفاعل في المحافل الأكاديمية الإقليمية والدولية.
بحضور معالي الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ايمن عاشور وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي ، شارك الأستاذ الدكتور معوض محمد الخولي، رئيس الجامعة، في فعاليات قمة QS للتعليم العالي في الشرق الأوسط 2025 ، والتي استضافتها جامعة الخليج للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بدولة الكويت، ونظمتها مؤسسة كيو إس العالمية، المزوّد الرائد عالميًا للخدمات والتحليلات والتصنيفات في قطاع التعليم العالي.
ألقى الدكتور محمد أيمن عاشور، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، الكلمة الختامية لقمة "كيو إس للتعليم العالي: الشرق الأوسط ٢٠٢٥"، والتي استضافتها جامعة الخليج للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بدولة الكويت، ونظمتها مؤسسة كيو إس العالمية، المزوّد الرائد عالميًا للخدمات والتحليلات والتصنيفات في قطاع التعليم العالي.
هذا وقد أعرب الدكتور معوض محمد الخولي عن بالغ اعتزازه بالمشاركة في هذا الحدث الأكاديمي المرموق، مشيرًا إلى أن القمة مثلت منصة فاعلة لتبادل الخبرات، وتعزيز التعاون الاستراتيجي مع المؤسسات التعليمية الرائدة على مستوى المنطقة والعالم.
وتُعد القمة، التي نظمتها مؤسسة QS Quacquarelli Symonds، واحدة من أبرز الفعاليات التعليمية في المنطقة، حيث انعقدت هذا العام تحت شعار:
"المجتمع 5.0: التعليم العالي والمهارات من أجل مستقبل يتمحور حول الإنسان"، بمشاركة نخبة من صُنّاع القرار ورؤساء الجامعات والخبراء الدوليين.
وقد شهدت القمة حضور عدد من الشخصيات البارزة، من بينهم: معالي الأستاذ الدكتور محمد أيمن عاشور، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بجمهورية مصر العربية، معالي الأستاذ الدكتور عمرو عزت سلامة، الأمين العام لاتحاد الجامعات العربية، الأستاذ الدكتور بسام علم الدين، رئيس جامعة الخليج للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، الدكتورة ماريا سبايس، رئيسة الابتكار بمؤسسة QS، الدكتور أشوين فرنانديز، المدير الإقليمي لمؤسسة QS في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا وجنوب آسيا ، إلى جانب نخبة من الخبراء الدوليين والمعنيين بتطوير منظومة التعليم العالي.
حيث تميّزت القمة بمشاركة واسعة من رؤساء وممثلي الجامعات العربية، وذلك تمهيدًا لانعقاد الدورة الـ57 لاتحاد الجامعات العربية، المزمع عقدها في الجامعة الدولية بدولة الكويت عقب انتهاء فعاليات القمة.
وقد ناقشت القمة عددًا من المحاور المحورية التي تعكس التوجهات الحديثة في التعليم العالي، أبرزها: تعزيز نهج التعليم المرتكز على الإنسان في ظل التطور التكنولوجي المتسارع، تطوير استراتيجيات فاعلة لاستقطاب الكفاءات الأكاديمية، بناء شراكات مؤسسية تسهم في سد الفجوة بين المهارات وسوق العمل، إعداد خريجين يمتلكون مهارات المستقبل، إعادة النظر في مؤشرات الأداء الأكاديمي من منظور يراعي الأبعاد الإنسانية.
واختُتمت فعاليات القمة بسلسلة من الجلسات النقاشية التي خرجت بتوصيات نوعية تهدف إلى تمكين مؤسسات التعليم العالي من القيام بدور محوري في بناء مجتمعات قائمة على المعرفة، وتلبية متطلبات التنمية المستدامة والمهارات المستقبلية.
President of New Mansoura University Participates in QS Higher Education Summit – Middle East 2025
As part of New Mansoura University’s commitment to active engagement in regional and international academic forums, Prof. Dr. Moawad Mohamed El-Kholy, President of the University, participated in the QS Higher Education Summit – Middle East 2025, which was held at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. The event was organized by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the world’s leading provider of services, analytics, and rankings in the higher education sector, and attended by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour delivered the closing address at the summit, which served as a distinguished platform for academic dialogue, strategic collaboration, and the exchange of best practices with leading educational institutions across the region and beyond.
Prof. Dr. El-Kholy expressed his great pride in participating in such a prestigious academic event, noting that the summit provided an effective platform to foster strategic cooperation and share expertise on key issues in the field of higher education.
The summit, organized by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, is regarded as one of the most significant educational events in the region. This year’s edition was held under the theme:
“Society 5.0: Higher Education and Skills for a Human-Centric Future”,
and brought together an elite group of decision-makers, university presidents, and international experts.
Among the prominent attendees were:

The summit witnessed broad participation from university leaders across the Arab world, laying the groundwork for the upcoming 57th session of the Association of Arab Universities, scheduled to be held at the International University in Kuwait following the conclusion of the summit.
The summit addressed several key topics that reflect modern trends in higher education, including:
• Promoting a human-centered approach to education in the era of rapid technological advancement
• Developing effective strategies for attracting academic talent
• Building institutional partnerships to bridge the gap between skills and labor market demands
• Preparing graduates with future-ready skills
• Rethinking academic performance indicators with a focus on humanistic values
The summit concluded with a series of panel discussions that produced high-impact recommendations aimed at empowering higher education institutions to play a central role in building knowledge-based societies and meeting the requirements of sustainable development and future skills.
